Wonderful

Great location for exploring the tourist quarter of La Paz. 5 mins walk to San Francisco church and a hort walk to the main square. Spacious room with lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Very convenient though a bit run down

comfortable bed and nice bathroom with all facilities. Excellent staff that even opened the restaurant for us at 4:30 am to have a breakfast. Thank you!

Strange windows that open easily with no proper sound blocking. very noisy city that even on the 13th floor we could hear the cars beeping and the parades

Loose fittings in bathroom, no AC/heating, thin walls. Pool closed every Monday but would have been helpful to be made aware of this in advance.

Definitely the best in La Paz

The room was wonderful, very big, with great view to the upper part of the city. Staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel location is great, 2 minutes walk from plaza San Francisco, 3 minutes walk from plaza Murillo. They also gave me the room at 8am, which was very important after a long flight. They also open the breakfast buffer very early in the morning (4am), which is very important for guests who have to go on a trip or have an early flight.

However, breakfast was poor. No vegetables, no cheese (unless you specifically ask for it), you cannot cut the bread yourself, you have to ask the waiter to do it for you (maybe because of the Covid19 which has long ago passed from all the world except for Bolivia). Also they charged me 7bs for a glass of milk for preparing coffee in my room, unheard of!

Spacious old gem in the heart of La Paz

Spacious and clean room, loved the floorboard instead of carpet. Location is central and walkable to major city attractions. Staff was very helpful to assist with our room change request and an airport taxi. It is a very old outdated hotel building which has seen its glory in the past but nevertheless, we appreciated the space we have in the room and everything was functional.

Can't control the room temperature and we had two warm nights so we had to remove all the blankets and sleep with one top sheet. Whilst the location is very central, it is located in a super busy area in the city center, traffic during the working week is horrendous and there are lots of noise from traffic on nearby avenue (day and night). I would warn anyone who will be staying during the weekend to request for a room that is not facing the an Francisco Church as the locals love partying till midnight so you will hear loud music and singing all night long. We had to request to move room on our first night to a smaller room. Still can hear the noise but not as bad. I imagine this will be the same for most hotels located downtown.
